Oral Diagnosis and Radiology

For patients who wish to be examined and treated in our clinic, first, a medical history form is taken. After performing extraoral and intraoral clinical examinations, if deemed necessary by your dentist, panoramic (2D) or dental volumetric tomography (3D) imaging is performed for a detailed evaluation.

After these steps, a treatment plan is created, and patients’ treatments are initiated.

Frequently Asked Questions

Oral diagnosis refers to a detailed examination and assessment performed to identify problems within the oral cavity. Thanks to oral diagnosis, all oral health issues, from tooth decay to gum diseases, can be detected early.

The digital X-ray technology we use at Smile Lounge emits a minimal level of radiation, making it much safer compared to traditional X-ray methods. Since radiation exposure is low, there is no need to worry during your treatment process.

Oral diagnosis and radiology can be performed whenever you have any oral health complaints or during your routine check-ups. Early detection is a crucial step in protecting your dental health in the long term.
